UNITED METHODIST WOMEN
(UMW)

Membership

Membership in United Methodist Women is open to women of all ages and stages in life (married or single; employed, stay-at-home moms or retired; teens, mothers, grandmothers or great-grandmothers), who are interested in the fellowship, service and learning opportunities of this mission-minded organization.

.

We're a diverse group whose leisure pursuits include reading, cooking, quilting, scrapbooking, photography, computing, counted cross-stitch, music, traveling and much more.

.

Circles

Although membership in a circle is not required, these small groups offer women close friendships in an informal setting. Five circles meet at various times and places:

  • Aldersgate Circle -- 3rd Thursday, 9:15 a.m.
  • Asbury-Epworth Circle -- 3rd Thursday,  1:15 p.m.
  • Deborah Circle -- 3rd Monday, 7:30 p.m.
  • Elizabeth Circle -- 2nd Thursday, 7:00 p.m.
  • Ruth Circle -- 3rd Tuesday, 9:30 a.m.

.
Meetings for All

All women are invited to participate in the monthly meeting of United Methodist Women, held on the first Thursday of the month, September through June, in the church dining room. These meetings include a topical program, devotions, and a catered lunch, dessert, salad supper or afternoon tea.
